This is a credenza I built for our own use on our porch. I had been watching David Marks on TV and loved his light/dark mixture, so I decided to apply his mixtures in this project. I used Black walnut and maple, for a distinct color contrast, including raised panel drawer fronts.
During our move to Pennsylvania, we chipped the glass that this top originally belonged to. I promised my wife that I would build another coffee table to fit the glass top. This is made from Cherry and finished with lacquer.
Wainscoting:
I decided to install wainscoting in my own home. This is the before and after of the oak stain grade install. Most of it was built in the shop, taking a couple of days to install and complete.

Night Stand:
This is a simple night stand also made from black walnut and maple. I found the design in a Fine Woodworking issue and decided to try it.
