Big Bob really is big! and he really is a carpenter with a great story..
While in college at the University of Michigan, Bob found work during his sophomore summer with a local builder in his home town, Livonia, MI. He really didn't care what trade it was, as long as it was work. And work he did! He spent the summer carrying lumber as an apprentice with a residential framing crew. In spite of the shock to his system, he discovered that he loved working with wood! That summer was the start of a lifelong "love affair" with art of woodworking. During the next summer vacation, he worked with another framing crew building townhouses. While in graduate school, he worked with a finish carpenter hanging doors in Ann Arbor, MI. From that point on, he worked on projects during the weekends and summers as he taught school during the year. Later on, he became a full-fledged stockbroker, and still works as one to this day!
As his wife's friends saw his work over the years, they asked him to do similar work in their homes. It grew into a legitimate weekend franchise completing projects contractors did not want to touch. In 25 years, he has specialized in finish and custom woodworking, sporting an advanced workshop in his garage in Northeast Pennsylvania.
As you browse through the website, keep in mind that all of these jobs were custom requests, even though there is a separate tab entitled "custom".
His clients have been very satisfied and are happy to act as a reference. Take a look and contact him if you would like further information!
